RICHMOND, Ind. – Eastern Indiana now has a new option for state-of-the-art health care. Mainstreet® and Trilogy Health Services are celebrating The Springs of Richmond, their newest Next Generation® development in Richmond.

Located at 400 Industries Road, The Springs of Richmond provides transitional care (short-stay rehabilitation and therapy) in a service-rich environment. The property hosted a VIP ribbon cutting this evening.

Construction started on The Springs of Richmond in March 2015 and the property is tentatively scheduled to open on Jan. 18. Mainstreet developed The Springs of Richmond and Trilogy operates it.

According to Randall Bufford, president and CEO of Trilogy, “Our commitment to a servant leadership culture and our dedication to providing exceptional customer service that exceeds our customers’ expectations are the cornerstones of Trilogy’s operating philosophy. When you combine great services with a team of dedicated and compassionate caregivers in the Mainstreet Next Generation model, the result is an outstanding senior living experience.”

With 70 beds and 48,034 square feet, the property boasts amenities such as a large therapy gym, an outdoor rehabilitation courtyard, a movie theatre, a game room, a spa and more. The property also offers a variety of dining options, including an on-site chef, a pub, a kitchen and restaurant-style dining. The project represents a total community investment of $12 million and created 250 construction jobs and 90-100 permanent jobs.

“Our best-in-class properties are designed to give aging Americans what they want – less hospital and more hospitality,” said Zeke Turner, founder and CEO of Mainstreet. “We are transforming the way health care is delivered nationwide and The Springs of Richmond illustrates the coming wave of health care.”

The Springs of Richmond will host a community open house for visitors this Sunday, Jan. 17, from 1 – 3 p.m.
