Darryl brings proven experience with health care solutions to Mainstreet.
Darryl Wellinghoff is the executive vice president at Mainstreet Health. He oversees all aspects of business development, including identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and creating long-term strategic vision.
Darryl’s career in the health care industry spans more than 15 years, mostly at The Medicines Company, where he rose to senior vice president over the Americas. While at The Medicines Company, he led the sales organization through five simultaneous product launches that spanned three pathways of care, landing him the company MVP award 10 times. He’s also been recognized by the Duke Clinical Research Institute for his leadership in reducing heart attack mortality rates.
Darryl earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. He enjoys traveling, boating, skiing, and spending time with his wife Colleen and their three teenagers. He’s served on the boards for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation—Tidewater and is part of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
